The Foundation also offers ongoing scholarships yearround to help students in the following limited areas.
This scholarship is for students on Southwestern's Coos and Curry campuses who are experiencing temporary and surmountable financial emergencies. The goal is to ensure students are able to stay enrolled in classes and complete their studies. Preference is given to students pursuing health care-related studies. Maximum amount of award is $500 per student per academic year.

The SWOCC Foundation works in collaboration with Phi Theta Kappa to assist qualifying students with membership in Honor Society. Southwestern students interested in Phi Theta Kappa membership should contact Chapter Advisor Mark Wilson for more information prior to applying.
