Southwestern has an open admission policy and welcomes students who wish to obtain a quality education. Please click on the application link that best pertains to you.

If you are assisting a student with an application, but are logged into myLakerlink as yourself, please logout and have the student log in with their personal credentials.

Attention: Southwestern will be closed from December 23rd through January 1st.
During this time applications for admissions will not be processed.
To ensure your application is processed prior to the campus closure please submit it no later than December 18th.

Application for Admission
 

  • First-year freshman, transfer, or returning students who plan to earn a degree to transfer to a 4-year college

  • At least 18 years old

  • Are a U.S. citizen or resident alien

International Application for Admission

  • Plan to earn a degree or transfer to a 4-year college

  • Are a non-resident, alien student

Community Education and Personal Enrichment

  • Plan to attend part-time for personal enrichment or workforce development

  • Are a U.S. citizen or resident alien

College Now Application for High School Students

  • Plan to earn dual (high school and college) credit

  • Are a high school student

Adult and Pre-College Education Application

  • Plan to earn a GED and/or

  • Are interested in English as a second language courses and/or

  • Would like to upgrade skills before entering college

  • Are a U.S. citizen or resident alien
