Description
The third course in a three-course series that emphasizes treatment of medical and trauma patients in scenario-based simulation in both outdoor and high-fidelity simulation. Students are presented with patients of various ages suffering from various medical conditions. Thorough patient assessment, treatment, and documentation of encounters is emphasized. This is the final course in patient simulation prior to students moving to practicing in a live, EMS setting on the ambulance. All previous knowledge learned throughout the paramedic courses will be utilized in this course.
