Your interactions with children make such a difference in their development and learning. Interactions are essential! Whether they are spontaneous or planned, thoughtful or automatic, individualized or one-size-fits-all, they matter. Transforming everyday interactions into “Powerful Interactions” will make your teaching more effective and your work more rewarding. In this session we will define “Powerful Interactions,” reflect on our personal classroom presence, and note practices that empower teachers to extend learning with children meaningfully all day, every day, in the working (and busy) world of early care and education.
