Description
This course is an introduction to the science of cell biology for students intending to take Anatomy and Physiology (BI 231Z, BI 232Z,BI 233Z) and Microbiology (BI 234). It presents an introduction to scientific study and the basics of cellular chemistry, cell structure and function, and principles of inheritance. It also introduces basic laboratory skills, including safety, measurement, calculations, the use of chemical reagents, and microscopy.
