What is Spring Preview?
This is a preview opportunity for you to experience life at Southwestern. You’ll get an exclusive peek into life as a college student, meet faculty, attend college breakout sessions, stay in student housing and most of all HAVE FUN! Join us on campus to discover real student life at Southwestern!
We’ll start with an orientation and a tour to get you familiar with campus and the events we have planned.
Other activities may include:
• A trip to the BEACH!• Free time in the Student RECREATION CENTER• Volleyball - Bonfire - Music - AMAZING RACE through campus• GAME night with snacks and fun• LATE NIGHT ‘COSMIC’ BOWLING• Enrollment & Financial Aid help plus a special “Parents” Session
After you register we will send you a detailed schedule.
Register early, space available is limited to 50 students. Registrations will be accepted through the first Friday in April.
Who is Invited?
If you are a junior or senior we invite you to visit during this time. Come check us out! If you are unable to visit during the Southwestern Experience Weekend, let us plan your visit for another time. We would love to share our campus with you!

Where your parents will stay?
Campus housing is reserved for prospective students only, on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents must make lodging arrangements. The following hotels offer discounts by calling and mentioning you are visiting Southwestern Oregon Community College:

What to bring?
- Sleeping bag and pillow- All toiletries- Athletic wear and athletic shoes- Towels- Clothes for all weather
The weather can be unpredictable in Southwest Oregon during the Spring, and we’ll be kicking off the afternoon with the Amazing Race, which will require you to wear comfortable athletic gear and shoes to participate. All students should expect to get sandy and wet during this event.
