Fitness for Recovery is a fitness course that focusses on fitness while providing a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals who are recovering from any sort of addiction. Individuals will pursue the physical and emotional benefits of fitness in a sober supportive setting that seeks to remove the stigma of sobriety. Instruction will cover various areas of fitness, which may include hiking, running, biking, yoga, interval training, and group instructed cardio. Specific focus on the importance of introducing fitness into a healthy lifestyle to increase knowledge and skill while cultivating a safe environment for encouraged sobriety.
