Description

The scope of this course is to provide instruction in and evaluation of the rules and regulations for towing vessels and barges; and towing vessel terminology, hazards, and safety. This course is open to all mariners who either hold a license as Master not more than 200 tons, Apprentice Mate (Steersman), Mate (Pilot) of Towing; OR have satisfied the examination requirements for Master 200 tons within one year of completion of this course.
