Description

The goal of this course is to develop a planned program of observation and practical experience with an organization providing emergency medical services. Students will perform the functions of an entry-level EMT under the guidance of a preceptor on an ambulance. Students will perform assessments and invasive procedures in a “real world” environment. Students will experience firsthand the skills and knowledge required to act in the capacity of an EMT. This course also continues the clinical internships as well.
