Description

This is the lab component of the Emergency Medical Technician Part A course. Includes cognitive (knowledge) and psychomotor (practical) skills necessary for an entry level EMT to safely enter a scene and learn to recognitze of signs and symptoms of illness and injury and proper emergency care procedures as outlined by the scope of practice established by the Oregon Medical Board. This course will also build interpersonal and leadership skills (affect) of the entry level EMT.
