Description

This course follows the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and OSHA requirements to prepare the student with knowledge, skill, and techniques necessary to recognize and provide care in first aid, respiratory, and cardiac emergencies on adults, children, toddlers, and infants using the latest CPR and emergency cardiac care guidelines. Students learn how to perform rescue breathing; CPR; how to use personal protective equipment; how to use an Epinephrine Auto-Injector; and how to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). ILCOR CPR/AED and First Aid certification is given upon completion of course requirements.
