Description

This workshop introduces participants to painting through color and texture using palette knives rather than traditional brushes, making it especially accessible for beginners. Students will learn how to mix and apply paint directly on the surface, creating rich layers, strong edges, and expressive marks without the pressure of precise drawing. Working from simple, approachable subjects such as fruit, cups, flowers, or everyday objects participants will explore how color, light, and texture work together to create form and depth. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, students will gain confidence in handling paint, controlling thickness and blending, and building images through bold, intuitive strokes. The focus is on experimentation, material awareness, and developing a playful, low-pressure entry point into painting.
